DUTIES OF POSITION
Is responsible for interaction in the community and promoting company services.
Analyze the potential of the company's service area to determine target markets.
Visit Doctor' offices, hospital discharge desks, Assisted Living facilities and other possible sources of referrals to present agency credentials and obtain client referrals.
Analyze the company's organization to determine its strengths and weaknesses.
Analyze past and current marketing data.
Complete an analysis of the company's "product" line.
Analyze client/company relationships.
Develop sales/marketing objectives and sales projections.
Develop a marketing plan, identifying priorities and sets a reasonable timetable.
Implement marketing plan staying within established timetable.
Review and evaluate the analyses and plan on an established basis.
Position is stressful in terms of meeting deadlines.
It is primarily a desk job which essentially involves sitting, standing, stooping and walking, as well as an inordinate amount of telephone communication.
It requires minimal lifting of office records and printouts.
Must ability to read 12 point and larger type, communicate effectively in English, and be able to hear adequately on the telephone with no more than an amplifier.
Must be able to use a PC, calculator, multi-line telephone, and other office equipment.
Has access to client medical and financial records, which may be discussed with management staff.
1. At least 1 year experience in marketing, nursing or social work interacting with health agencies/professionals.
2. Must be organized and detail oriented.
3. Must be able to communicate effectively in writing, orally in English.
4. Must be able to interact with health professional at all levels.
