Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) seeks a Clinical Case Manager to join the staff of University Counseling Services in the Division of Student Affairs. The position entails coordinating referrals, tracking referrals to ensure quality of care, maintaining a database of referral resources, and assisting students with navigating insurance. This position requires some travel to local clinicians to develop referral network. Additional duties include conducting initial assessments, crisis coverage, consultation, clinical supervision, and providing clinical services.

Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling, with experience in case management. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary counseling center team, work independently, have knowledge of contemporary university mental health issues, and demonstrate multicultural competence.
Preference will be given to applicants who have demonstrated an interest and/or experience with the mental health needs of college students and who are licensed or license-eligible in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
University Counseling Services has an APA-accredited pre-doctoral intern training program. The multidisciplinary staff of UCS with graduate trainees from the disciplines of psychology, social work, counseling education, and psychiatry. VCU is an urban university of 30,000 students located on two campuses in the capital city of Richmond, VA.
