Recruiting Specialist will focus solely on staffing of housekeeping positions: housekeeper, houseperson, dispatcher, and supervisor. The Recruiting Specialist will have active communication with hiring managers and human resources in order to identify needs. Owns the recruiting strategy in order to meet staffing levels by conducting research of potential talent pools, sources, phone interviews and evaluating external candidates for employment opportunities with the company. This role coordinates the prescribed hiring process and scheduling of successfully screened applicants with assigned hiring managers. The Recruiting Specialist will be a key component of a positive employer brand by ensuring a positive candidate experience and by collaborating with human resources and hiring managers on the onboarding experience.
The Recruiting Specialist will partner with Regional Directors, Hiring Managers and Human Resources on strategies to meet staffing needs and support of associate retention strategies as needed.
The Recruitment Specialist must maintain a professional and effective relationship with all site management and all levels of associates. A Recruitment Specialist must ensure company mission statement and values are followed, always motivated by the best interests of the company, its associates, and customers.
• Collaborates with hiring managers in the identification of staffing numbers
• Generate leads, screen & conduct interviews with prospective candidates, and provide recommendations for site placement
• Assist hiring managers in scheduling candidate interviews
• Generate & track request for local ad placement and other lead generating sources
• Maintain candidate database including applicant tracking details
• Owns the sourcing plans to meet recruitment needs
• Assist sites as needed to formulate sourcing plans to meet their staffing needs
• Generate recruitment activity reports
o Responsible for development and execution of seasonal, monthly and weekly staffing strategy
o Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment

o Bachelor's Degree in Business/Human Resources, related field or equivalent recruiting or hospitality experience
o 1-2 years of professional experience with prior interviewing experience preferred
o Fluent in English & Spanish preferred
o Ability to obtain a driving permit
o Willingness and ability to travel 25 to 50% of the time is required; flexibility to travel with limited notice is a plus
o Must be able to work with minimum supervision and make decisions as required to accomplish tasks; refers to more experienced recruitment professional or manager when needed
