Randolph-Macon College invites applications for an Administrative Assistant. This individual will be responsible for administrative support to the Office of the Provost, including the Provost, the Dean and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.
Responsibilities include composing written correspondence; requesting, collecting and filing confidential information; scheduling and coordinating campus events; maintaining the file system; compiling information for faculty standing committees; following through with disseminating correspondence and reports; proof-reading; greeting visitors and answering phones.
Qualifications: The candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Word, pay strict attention to detail, have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with faculty, staff, students, parents and visitors to the College. Must handle confidential information with discretion and be able to manage projects independently. A high school diploma plus three to five years related work experience required. A college degree is a plus. Experience in college administration helpful.
