Principal Scientist I

Principal Scientist I – (Richmond, VA): Identify & prioritize opportunities for process improvements & standardization by leading various projects & collaborate with end users, vendors & cross-functional stakeholders to identify specific automation needs, making recommendations & implementing proposed solutions. Requires at minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Analytical Chemical, or closely related field, or foreign equivalent. Must have at least 8 years experience in the job offered or related. Experience must include Experience operating testing equipment used in an organic chemical analytical lab; ands-on method development & method validation experience; Experience working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS); Experience with pre-clinical study designs & concepts; Advocating & implementing efficiency improvements in an analytical setting; Good Lab. Practices (GLPs) and Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) experience.
