Do you have receptionist experience and would like something a little more interesting?
Veterinary Medicine is never dull and we need you to be the welcoming voice to our practice!
Requires a love of pets and being comfortable around them, people skills, good communication skills, multitasking ability, good time management and organizational skills, basic computer skills, attention to detail, patience with worried pet owners, and a friendly, team oriented attitude.
You will be answering multiple phone lines, scheduling, discussing recommended care with veterinarians, staff and pet owners, overseeing form completion, filing, and occasional basic pet care including caring for dogs and cats, walking dogs outside, feeding and keeping them clean, and possibly giving medication.
Receptionist and/or customer service experience is key. We will train you as to veterinary specifics.
If you are interested, there is upward mobility into becoming a Certified Veterinary Assistant or Licensed Veterinary Technician. Full or part time availability.
Hourly wage depends on experience, PTO, retirement plan, insurance stipend, pet care discount, CE.
