Job Description:

This is a semi-skilled position that reports directly to the Maintenance Manager performing routine maintenance and repairs to residential homes, commercial sites, and vehicles. Duties include responsibility for the routine maintenance and repair of building and equipment, such as the opening of blocked drains, repairing leaking faucets, replacing bulbs and switches, replacing, or repairing screens, broken windows and sash weights, making minor repairs and adjustments to machinery, mixing cement and plaster, painting buildings, rooms' walls and / or other surfaces. Minor vehicle repairs such as replacing air filters, bulbs, wiper blades and mirrors, checking and adding fluids.

Qualifications/Education/Experience:
  • Valid driver's license with at least a three-year clean driving record.
  • Act 34 and 33 clearances.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years' experience related to general home/building maintenance and repair, as well as functional knowledge of automotive equipment sufficient to detect defective operation.
  • Must possess knowledge of the methods, materials, tools, and practices used in building and equipment maintenance trades.
  • Must have knowledge of computer basics, be able to use a smartphone and tablet proficiently.
