Position Function

Direct all phases of the strength and conditioning program for the men's and women's basketball programs.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution by date of employment.

Minimum Experience

Two years of experience in strength and conditioning coaching.

Minimum Other

Authorization to work in the US

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Education

Master's degree in physical education, biomechanics, or related field.

Preferred Experience

Three years of experience in Division I Athletics.

Preferred Other

Pre-Employment Screening

Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.

Required Certifications

CSCS or SCCC Certification required. CPR/AED certified or must obtain certification within 3 months of employment.

Provide proper instruction and supervision of techniques and safety procedures for the strength and condition program for the men's and women's basketball programs.

Supervise the proper maintenance and care of all equipment, along with maintenance documentation.

Determine supplies and equipment needs for appropriate area; follow proper purchasing procedures.
