About this Opportunity
Ball State University Recreation Services is looking to add an additional member to its staff, a temporary lifeguard position for the summer. Recreation Services, a department within Business and Auxiliary Services, has a reputation of managing facilities and programs in a safe, customer service oriented, and professional way. Recreation Services is looking for someone with the appropriate qualifications, certifications, and demeanor to be a temporary lifeguard for the summer.

Maintain safe and effective use of Ball State University pools.
Minimum Education
High School Degree or GED.
Minimum Experience
Current certification in Lifeguard, First-aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer from a nationally recognized organization (American Red Cross, StarGuard, YMCA, Ellis, etc.)
Minimum Other
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Additional experience life guarding in public pool setting.
