BRBH is looking for a Clinical Division Director to manage and develop the quality services provided in our Adult Care Coordination Division! Come join our dynamic team!

The Clinical Division Director for Adult Care Coordination is responsible for service programs for adults diagnosed with serious mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and/or developmental disability.

The position oversees various community support programs and is responsible for leading, planning, organizing, developing, and monitoring the Directors and Managers of the Division’s programs. Programs include Adult Mental Health Care Coordination, Developmental Disabilities Care Coordination, Housing Services, Mental Health Skill Building, State Hospital Discharge Planning, and the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team.

The position requires a high level of professional discernment and collaboration across departmental boundaries and with various internal and external communities stakeholders served by the agency.

This position participates on the Executive Management Team (EMT), and plays a key role by providing input into agency operations and the development of agency policies and procedures. The Division Director reports directly to the Chief Clinical Officer and helps keep the Chief Executive Officer, and the Executive Management Team, well informed on the status of the Adult Care Coordination Division operations.

Pay Range: $66,728.19-$111,213.65/annually

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Master’s degree in a human services field that fulfills the criteria for eligibility for professional licensure as a professional counselor or clinical social worker in the Commonwealth of Virginia. LPC or LCSW preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in responsible program management and implementation of best practices for providing services to individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities and/or serious mental illness.
  • Driving Record: Candidates must be able to drive agency vehicles with a good driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years AND no criminal violations in the last five years).
  • Background Check: Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.
