Brier Crest Woods is a private community nestled in the heart of the Pocono mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania, is recruiting for a Full-Time Community Manager that can oversee and manage a community of over 700 privately owned homes and properties, comprised of full time, part time, and vacation rentals. Requirements • Property management experience. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organization and analytical skills. • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Quicken, Quickbooks. • Four-year college degree, preferred • Experience managing a staff. Job Duties • Manage the Day to Day operations, • Oversee and enforce community rules and regulations; Ensure compliance with covenants and law’s • Responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of common areas in a community • Perform periodic regular inspections. Recommends alterations, maintenance and reconditioning as necessary. • Perform routine property accounting functions such as account payable processing and account receivable reporting. o Manage Assist with development of annual forecasts for operating and capital expenses o Collect Dues and Assessments • Ensure compliance with covenants and law’s • Oversee and manage part-time and seasonal staff of 10-12 • Contract Management • Track and manage short term rental registrations • Plan and schedule Board Meetings • Provide professional assistance to the Board on Issues • Cultivate relationships with property owners. • Work with Board Committees on approved capital improvement projects • Must be able to work independently. Supervision • Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels. • Ensure that office and maintenance staff are resolving issues, meeting deadlines, maintaining accurate records and staying within budget.
