Job Description:

As a Line Cook at Burnt Hills Café, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen team, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional meals prepared with care and attention to detail. You will work closely with our Head Chef and kitchen staff to execute our menu items with consistency and excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with Burnt Hills Café's recipes and standards.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
• Ensure that food preparation areas are clean, sanitized, and organized at all times.
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to prioritize orders and ensure timely delivery of meals.
• Monitor food inventory and communicate with the Head Chef regarding ingredient needs.
• Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to the management.
• Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary fundamentals.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team-oriented setting.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional food experiences.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

*Pay Range -$16.00-$19.00 based on Experience*
