Superintendent of Schools

The Calcasieu Parish School Board is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as Superintendent of
Schools.
Located in Southwest Louisiana, this rural, suburban, and urban parish houses over 200,000 citizens
while serving over 28,500 students. Our district is committed to building foundations for the future
through high expectations, visionary leadership, continuous improvement, and effective
communication.
Applicants must meet school system superintendent qualifications listed in Bulletin 746 Louisiana
Standards for State Certification of School Personnel (EDL 3 or the appropriate applicable certification
that preceded the EDL structure) or Out of State Certificate of eligibility (certified by Department of
Education).

deadline, and must be hand-delivered, sent by commercial carrier which provides for delivery tracking, or
delivered by registered or certified mail. The School Board is not responsible for lost or delayed delivery of

The board may offer a contract term which does not extend beyond July 1, 2028. The salary is
negotiable based on experience. Minimum Salary is $150,000 per year.
