Aftercare Coordinator

All candidates must be available to interview in the US and legally able to work in the US.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Aftercare Teacher to join our team. The Aftercare Teacher will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students after regular school hours. The ideal candidate will be a committed Christian with a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a fun and interactive atmosphere.

Hours are Monday through Friday from 2:30pm-6:30pm. Students are often picked up early, and you may leave when the last student does, and still will be paid for the full shift.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with students in aftercare activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Implement age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts that promote socialization, creativity, and learning
• Assist with homework as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized aftercare area, adhering to health and safety standards
• Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff, fostering open communication and collaboration
• Manage student behavior, addressing any issues that may arise in a fair, loving, and Christ-like manner

Requirements:

• Minimum of HS diploma
• Associates or Bachelor's degree candidates preferred
• Experience working with children preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with students of various ages and backgrounds
