Part-Time Branch Support Staff (Louisa County)

The starting hiring amount will be between $11.64 and $15.13 an hour. This is a 20-hour per week position with prorated benefits.
Performs responsible paraprofessional duties for a variety of routine and well-defined technical library services under general supervision of a branch manager in Louisa County Library.
Applicant must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

All library circulation services; routine reference; assisting library patrons in locating and using library resources; computer data entry; collecting fines and fees; registering patrons for cards; answering the phone and handling patron inquiries; shelving and maintaining library materials.
-High school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
-Previous experience working in a public customer service environment is required.
-Computer literate with Windows and internet experience required
-Previous library work and knowledge of library computer software programs are a plus.
