GRADE 4 WATER PLANT OPERATOR

The City of LaFayette, Alabama is searching for a fulltime or a part-time water plant operator to work at the LaFayette Water Treatment Plant. The LaFayette Water Treatment Plant is a surface water plant serving LaFayette and some surrounding areas, and is operated 16-20 hours a day. The capacity of the plant is 1.2 million gallons a day, with the overage production being between 700,000 and 1.1 MGD.
The successful candidates must posses an Alabama Driver License, Grade 4 Alabama Certification in water plant operations from the Alabama Department of Environmental Management, and experience in the operator of a surface water plant.
