COMMUNITY ACTION COUNCIL

Community Action Council for Lexington-Fayette, Bourbon, Harrison and Nicholas Counties is currently accepting applications for :

Driver 1 (Madison, Harrison, and Fayette County)

Position is responsible for providing direct transportation services for children or adults to school, center or program related activities and food service delivery for the Head Start Program. Primarily responsible for ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the children, staff and volunteers during bus transportation to and from the center and on field trips. Position must ensure that the school bus is in good operating condition at all times, pick up and drop off students as per the schedule, maintain order and security on the bus and obey all laws, regulations and rules of conduct

Qualifications:

Must have a high school diploma, GED, or pursuing a GED. Must have a valid commercial driver’s license (Class A or B with passenger endorsement and school bus endorsement). Must have a good driving record. No at-fault traffic accidents in the last 5 years. Must be willing to submit to drug and alcohol testing upon request, in accordance with federal, state, and agency regulations.

$19.08-$20.98 (Hourly)
