Chesterfield County's Mental Health Support Services Department is seeking a Case Management Services Manager to be responsible for administration, management, and supervision of ID/DD case management/service coordination. Provides overall management and leadership to ID/DD case management/service coordination program. Leads planning, implementation and on-going evaluation of the quality and effectiveness case management services. This includes accountability for agency, county, state, and federal procedures and regulations governing the implementation of case management /service coordination for ID/DD. Interprets and monitors local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations that affect the operation of case management and determines the impact of proposed legislative and regulatory change. Completes budget planning, analysis, and maintenance to assure provision of quality services. Serves as a liaison between state and federal regulators, service providers and advocacy groups. Perform other work as required.

Successful candidate will possess a master's degree in psychology, social work, rehabilitation counseling, nursing or a related field; five years of increasingly responsible experience in the provision of mental health services to include three years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Considerable knowledge of theories, principles and practices of community behavioral, prevention and programming for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD); of principles and techniques of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of persons with behavioral disorders; and of relevant mental health laws. Ability to plan, organize and direct a comprehensive program of mental health services; to interpret and apply county, state and federal regulations, policies and guidelines related to case management; to analyze and interpret program data; to communicate effectively orally and in writing; to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers; to supervise staff. Experience in utilizing an employee health record (EHR). Prefer knowledge of the Department of Justice Settlement Agreement; Waiver Management System (WaMs); and person-centered thinking and practices. Good driving record required. Must not reflect a total of six or more demerit points within the twenty-four months preceding the anticipated hire date, or one major violation of six demerit points within the preceding thirty-six months.
