- Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, or three to five years of experience in the development, maintenance and support of integrated web based and client/server applications or a combination of training and experience. Knowledge of Windows Server OS, VMs, SQL, and Cloud application support. Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office 365 products. Candidate must have experience in project and data management. Customer and vender management skills are required to coordinate support. Knowledge of Web Services and Services Oriented Architecture is desirable.
Must have exemplary troubleshooting skills and able to perform accurately in high stress situations. Must be flexible, adaptable to change and be able to work with multiple work groups. Will be subject to sensitive information and must follow CJIS requirements.Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required.
This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice’s “Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy” and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent criminal background check. - Duties

Enterprise Applications Analyst provides operational support and maintenance of enterprise automated systems that the Departments of Chesterfield County utilize. Application Analysts serve as the primary point of contact when system issues arise and consult with vendors and other technical support teams to resolve issues. They are responsible for the overall health and integrity of the applications and their infrastructure. Analysts also coordinate and implement software changes and ensure proper testing, change control and backup procedures are followed. They serve as project managers and team leads on projects. They conduct meetings, provide consultation, reporting and guidance to many departments. Application Analysts serve on a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule. Perform other work as required.
