Chesterfield County's Department of Information Systems Technology is seeking a Senior Desktop Analyst to analyze, plan, design, install and maintain PC hardware and software in the county as well as provide technical information and assistance to staff and customers. This position will be an escalation point for tier one PC support issues as well as lead a team of analysts. Perform other work as required. Successful candidate will possess a High school diploma or GED and three years of desktop support of Microsoft Windows systems in an enterprise environment; or a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Possess high level skills at supporting Microsoft Windows 7 and 10 in a Microsoft Active Directory environment; high level skills at supporting Microsoft Office 2003 and above including Office 365; a working level knowledge of standard networking services such as DHCP, DNS, Active Director and print servers; a working level knowledge of IT security principles including malware defense; ability to adapt to a constantly changing workload with multiple levels of priority; ability to complete assigned projects independently and within a team environment. Ability to successfully lead a team of analysts. Experience with automating, packaging, and deploying operating systems and applications with Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) is a plus. Experience administering Airwatch, Laserfiche, and Windows 10 enterprise a plus. Experience in the development of basic scripts for task automation is a plus. Experience with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) using VMware Horizon View is desired. Experience with audio-visual systems a plus.

This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent criminal background check.
