Plans, manages, and executes multiple projects within Residential Operations to improve departmental efficiency and improve support to the students. Serves as expert resource in the development, application and explanation of Residential Operations policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp
Bachelors plus 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum five years' relevant experience in an higher education setting.
- Current driver license and ability to qualify under the terms of the Dartmouth Approved Driver policy.
- Solid experience in providing administrative support with a high level of autonomy to multiple constituents in a professional environment.
- Proficient in the use of computers and software applications and database management; the ability to learn new applications.
- Strong communications, customer service and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with a diverse College community.
- Ability to foster a collaborative, team centered environment.
- Initiative, sound judgment and ability to work independently.
- Ability to maintain decorum and handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office.

Commencement and Reunions Housing
- Manages the Commencement and Reunion housing program, including but not limited to creating and implementing policies; yearly updating of the housing portal; hiring, training, and supervising around 75 temporary and student staff; assigns guests to rooms; answers questions, explains policies, and resolves Commencement and Reunion conflicts and challenges. Reconciles financial accounts. Works closely with Alumni Relations.

Conference and Events Housing
- Management of the Conference & Events summer housing program, including but not limited to hiring, training, and supervising up to 10 temporary summer workers; works closely with Conferences & Events regarding arrivals and concerns; coordinates services with vendors.

System Management
- Serves as Residential Operations point person for several systems including, but not limited to, Lenel, EMS, and StarRez. Plans, coordinates, and oversees various projects including, but not limited to, a new room inventory system. Manages the Residential Operations key and access card inventory.

UG Facilities Coordination
- Coordinates all work to do with term openings and term closings within all College-owned undergraduate residential facilities. This includes working closely with various offices to make sure rooms are ready when students move in. Responsible for making sure custodial and maintenance staff get all information necessary so they can plan their work accordingly. Including management of yearly mold inspection program for undergraduate residential facilities, termly room inventory program, and ongoing laundry program.

Policy Administration and Communication
- Serves as liaison with the Undergraduate Housing and Residential Education regarding special requests, policy questions, and makes exceptions to policy, if appropriate. Resolves administrative problems by analyzing information, identifying, and communicating solutions to students, parents, and staff. Works with the Residential Education Office regarding coordinating Resident Fellow and Living Learning Community apartment inventories, inspections, and turnovers.
- Creates and updates Residential Operations notices, publications, and websites.
