This position is responsible for sound production for all services on two campuses. Responsibilities may be accomplished by the Sound Engineer and through the establishment of a trained core of volunteers. Create an audio mix for worship services, indoor/outdoor events that meet the needs of the pastors, worship leaders, media and special events ministry teams. Responsible for staffing at all services and ministry events. Also responsible for inventory and purchase of all sound equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Three Years of demonstrated audio experience or a degree in audio or a related field.
2. Excellent Communications Skills.
3. Ability to take and implement directions from pastors and direct report. Must be able to implement the Pastors' vision for all sound in-house and on all virtual platforms.
4. Must be flexible and able to manage change. Ability to react/troubleshoot quickly, sometimes in a time-constrained environment.
5. Experience in mixing and providing audio in live environments for all scheduled services and ministry events. Responsible for planning and executing sound production for concerts, outdoor events and other occasional non- Sunday church wide events.
6. Work collaboratively on a weekly basis with our music and media ministry to ensure that all worship services and events are properly staffed and planned for sound.
7. Provide training in-house or through outside vendor for volunteers and staff.
8. Be onsite one hour before service for set-up and sound checks.
9. Some supervisory skills necessary to staff and direct ministry volunteers
10. Attend monthly staff meetings 45 minutes to 1 hour in length
