EMERGENCY SERVICES MANAGER
EMERGENCY SERVICES MANAGER – Goochland Powhatan Community Services is seeking a Full-Time ES Manager. The incumbent must have a
- master’s degree in a human services field,
- be a licensed mental health professional,
- be a Certified Preadmission Screening Clinician
- have a minimum of two years of experience working in emergency services and with individuals living with a serious mental illness. \

GPCS has 1 clinic in each county of our catchment area open Monday-Thursday 8:30-7pm and Friday 8-4:30pm. The unit consists of the Manager and 5 Emergency Services Clinicians. The unit work schedule for ES Clinicians is Monday through Friday 8:00a-4:30p in the Powhatan and Goochland clinic. ES Clinicians are required to stay later than 4:30pm if an ECO occurs during shift. GPCS contract with Richmond Behavioral Health for after hours, weekend and holiday ES covers. The ES manager provides additional on-call coverage as needed for community partners and is the supervisory backup to clinicians. In addition to managing ES, ES Manager also provides oversight to GPCS’s Same Day Access program. GPCS uses a web-based electronic health record. Both clinics are conveniently located 15 minutes west from Route 288 exits and we currently manage an average of about 73 service requests/month and less than 4 prescreening/month.
The starting salary is commensurate with education and experience and starts at $75,000
