Full Time:
Monday-Friday 8-5
Wednesday 8-6

Job Description:
Opticians work as part of team of eye care professionals that include Ophthalmologist and Optometrist. Opticians need to have a thorough understanding of different types of lenses and coatings available.
Medical technician/optician duties include:
- Assisting the optometrist in gathering patient information and then inputting that information into EMR.
- Pretesting prior to an eye examination and specialized testing if requested by the Optometrist.
- Providing instructions on care, insertion, and removal of contact lenses.
- Interpreting prescriptions to provide the best options suited for everyone’s need.
- Taking precise measurements and adjusting frames so the fit properly.
- Checking glasses to make sure orders have been processed accurately.
