Warehouse Operations Team Member

Role Overview:

The Warehouse Operations Team Member will be flexible on a daily basis with the ability to work in Receiving, Shipping, and additional Utility Roles as required. This position requires the strong ability to follow instructions and meet certain physical requirements. This person reports to a warehouse supervisor or designated Team Leader for alignment and direction.

Responsibilities:

Operate required equipment to unload incoming containers through the direction of supervisor, which includes moving merchandise from container to staging area or put-away location in the warehouse.

Operate equipment retrieve product and load outgoing truck loads by direction of supervisor, which includes moving merchandise from warehouse storage location(s) or staging areas to inside truck bed.

Ability to physically and frequently unload and load boxes of furniture from and into various vessels as required. Individual or team lift(s) is used as required.

Ability to assemble merchandise on assembly line, that includes using hand tools, screws, glue to assemble chairs, entertainment centers, and other merchandise as instructed.

Ability to repair merchandise as instructed by supervisor, that includes using spray paint, table saws, hand tools, glue, screws.

Most importantly, able to follow instructions and training as required to adhere to our company and national safety standards and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Focused and compliant with Safety guidelines, procedures, and requirements
• Required to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
• Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs with assistance
• Ability to listen, comprehend, and follow directions from supervisor
• Furniture distribution experience preferred
• Punctual and dependable
• Detail Oriented
