Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Metamorphosis Medical Center is a Transgender Clinic located in Southern California and has served the LGBTQ & 2 spirited+ community for over 14 years. The Center provides hormone therapy and other transition-related services.

We are seeking a Licensed NP or PA who shares our goal to ensure every person who walks through the door knows they are seen, heard and valued.

The right candidate will have 2 to 3 years experience providing Transgender Care,

Will consider training for the right candidate

Ability to interface positively with a diverse patient base

Ability to work independently, with the physician and as part of the office team

Competent working on EMR and keeping updated and detailed patient records

General Duties:

Promote a safe and welcoming environment assessing the needs and preparing a treatment plan with patients on their Transition Journey.

Helping patients to identify other needs for their journey, and providing appropriate resources; mental health, general medicine, aesthetics, electrologist, etc

Working with other members of the community for hormone optimization, tattoo removal, aesthetics.

Maintaining accurate and timely patient records

Managing daily messages through the EMR and communicating with patients through in- office, video, phone appointments.

Manage prescription refills

The position offers the unique opportunity for someone looking to see existing patients and to create their own patient base within a well established practice, part time or full time hours, setting your own schedule.

Compensation:

Compensation is based on productivity and will be discussed during the interview process.
