Permanent, full-time position available for the 2024-2025 school year.  Minimum of four (4) years documented work experience as an auto body technician.  Must have or be able to obtain a PA Teaching Certificate in Auto Collision and Repair.  Teaching experience, industry and trade related certifications - a plus.  Applicants must be able to relate to and instruct high-school aged students, work independently and prepare lessons based upon a prescribed curriculum.   Maintains an educational environment that affords each student the opportunity to develop necessary skills free from adverse peer pressure.  Maintains a working relationship with members of community-interest groups. Promotes a positive attitude regarding vocational education and its benefits to the industrial community.  Salary commensurate with education and experience and will be determined in accordance with the current teacher salary schedule. Current Federal and State clearances required.  (MCTI is part of the PA Public School Retirement System.)
