Technical:
- Have the ability to perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation.
- Keep supply use to a minimal and maintain overtime to 3% or less
- Serves as a liaison between staff, physicians, patients, and family members to ensure effective communication/interaction
- Ensures high quality health care is delivered at the West Point Facility and Radiology department by effectively interacting and cooperating with providers
- Prepares and presents patients reports/projects as required
- Maintains that exams and charges are correct on daily basis.
- Must have the training and experience to perform in the modality of two or more of the following modalities: CT, MRI, Mammography, and Diagnostic Radiology.
- Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
- Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues
- Graduate of AMA approved school. Registered or registry eligible by ARRT or RDMS in minimal of two modalities.
- Mississippi Medical Technical License
- CPR required
- Excellent interpersonal skills; required
