Job Description

This position's primary responsibility is to provide support for the faculty and students who teach and learn in the department's academic programs. To provide program administrative and fiscal support for the all programs in the department. This includes, but is not limited to responding to faculty and student needs, supervising work study students, maintaining appropriate data bases to assure the smooth functioning of the office, overseeing the budget and providing fiscal support to the department.

Extensive knowledge of general office procedures. Considerable knowledge of effective customer service and problem resolution techniques. Working knowledge of information systems and computer software used to prepare correspondence, manipulate data, and create reports. Exceptional interpersonal, time management, organizational skills. Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to interact professionally and effectively with students, faculty and other University personnel. Extensive knowledge of state financial policies including payroll, procurement, accounts payable and cash management. Ability to assume budget responsibilities and reporting requirements.

Conditions of Employment

This is an on campus position requires the ability to be punctual and professional at regular 8:00am-5:00pm business hours.

Annual Salary/Hourly Rate

Salary range between $ - 31,886 - $46,000
