Systems Engineer - Technology Services
Randolph-Macon College is currently seeking a full-time Systems Engineer to provide technology support services in an academic environment. Reporting to the Systems Engineer Lead for Technology Services, this individual will be providing all levels of software and hardware support to faculty and staff, while also being responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and basic training for equipment and applications used for instructional and administrative operations.

Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field required. (Combination of relevant education and work experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
- Current driver’s license is required.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in an end user computer and software installation, maintenance and support role preferred.
- Must be capable of routinely lifting between 35-45 pounds and willing to climb ladders and scaffolding up to 25 feet high to service projectors and other equipment. Job also requires the ability to push loaded equipment carts weighing up to 150 pounds.
- Must be willing to work weekends and evenings to provide technology support, on occasion. This position also includes an on-call rotation requirement.
