We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our growing private physical therapy practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessment, manual therapy and exercise prescription treating patients with orthopedic and sports injuries with a personal touch. As a Physical Therapist, you will work closely with your patients in a one-on-one environment to develop personalized treatment plans and provide hands-on care to facilitate recovery.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assessment and Evaluation:

    • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions.
    • Use standardized tests and clinical observations to assess patients' impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities.
    • Interpret evaluation findings to establish appropriate treatment goals and plans.
  2. Treatment Planning and Implementation:

    • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs, goals, and medical history.
    • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve patients' mobility, strength, flexibility, and endurance.
    • Monitor patients' progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  3. Patient Education and Counseling:

    • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for self-management and injury prevention.
    • Provide guidance on proper body mechanics, exercises, and activities of daily living to promote functional independence and prevent re-injury.
  4. Collaboration and Communication:

    • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  5. Professional Development:

    • Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques, research, and evidence-based practice guidelines.
    • Participate in continuing education opportunities, workshops, and professional conferences to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others achieve their rehabilitation goals.
