HVAC/Refrigeration Service Manager

Salary: $78,000 - $110,000/year (DOE)

We are seeking a Service Manager for our HVAC/Refrigeration division in Turlock, CA, to ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality, timely service. The role involves coordinating with technical and administrative teams to manage business operations, contributing to the company’s financial growth and profitability.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight for on-time and within budget job completion.
• Communicate effectively with internal staff for accurate billing and scheduling.
• Ensure client satisfaction in all company performed jobs.
• Manage a quality after-hours emergency On-call service program.
• Monitor and control job/project costs to meet original estimates.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating service department personnel.
• Organize training and conduct regular meetings on workload, customer service, safety, and company policies.
• Continuously evaluate technicians’ technical ability and implement training programs, including compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Manage field technicians’ work, schedules and provide technical support.
• Understand advanced principles of HVAC, refrigeration, and heating with a strong technical skill set.
• Comprehend customers’ needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time management and attention to detail.
• Building long-term client relationships.
• Availability to work 40+ hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary for successful company operations.
• Minimum 5 years of field experience.
• At least 1 year in an HVAC/Refrigeration Supervisory role.

Required License or Certification:

• EPA Universal Certification
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean DMV record
