This position exists to manage international education experiences for students in Henrietta Schmoll School of Health Sciences (HSSHS), specifically individual student and group placements for international fieldwork and rotations, as well as supporting the development and coordination of faculty-led global interprofessional education (IPE) courses in HSSHS programs of study. This position will primarily focus on graduate-level program development and management of international preparation and experiences in collaboration with the office of Global Studies.
Responsibilities include: Serve as liaison between program providers and students regarding travel logistics prior to, during and upon return of student participation. Meet directly with students prior to departure to ensure travel readiness, preparation and any required follow-up paperwork or documentation. Oversee and manage portfolio of HSSHS faculty-led study abroad programs. Coordinate billing and accounts payable to include grant-funded student billing on faculty-led programs. Develop and implement placement and course application materials for international clinical or practicum student placements in collaboration with departments. Assist students through the application process for partner (e.g., CFHI, EduAfrica) and internal programs. Manage pre-departure and orientation materials, website and application updates within the learning management system. Provide 24/7 travel support and emergency on-call contact when students are abroad. Attend regular meetings and check-ins with HSSHS departments and coordinators. Provide risk management oversight and assessment of student placements. Collaborate with Global Studies, HSSHS departments, the grants office and other University stakeholders to develop and manage emergency protocolsEmployees at St. Kate's feel a deep connection to the University's Mission and Vision, and they live their values at work.

Minimum Qualifications: Three (3) years program and project management experience. Experience interacting with collaborators outside of the United States.
Preferred Qualifications: Baccalaureate degree. Five (5)+ years international program and project management. Experience working with educational health programs. Experience working in a higher education institution.
