Job Overview

Lead operation and marketing activities for the Trademarks and Licensing Office. Assist leadership with development of engagement and sponsorship opportunities for UC's brand.

Essential Functions
  • Manage day-to-day activities for campus sponsorship business for the office. Serve as the primary contact for sponsorship requests for engagement with UC's brand and third-party organizations to ensure sufficient information is submitted for review; provide timely response.
  • Serve as primary contact for central CRM system tracking campus sponsorship activity to ensure accessibility of data for university leadership on all relationships related to engagement with UC's brand.
  • Work with internal constituents to promote awareness of sponsorship policy and serve as an expert for sponsorship engagement. Develop relationships with internal staff to respond to their needs and help develop engagement opportunities with outside organizations while staying consistent with university policies.
  • Direct marketing activities to promote the visibility and sales of UC branded merchandise. Develop annual marketing budget and creative content, including oversight for engagement with representatives from UC's licensing agency and strategic licensing partners.
  • Manage all marketing initiatives for the Trademarks & Licensing Office. Coordinate programming with internal and external partners to maximize visibility and engagement with UC's constituents.
  • Develop various reports covering accomplishments, including quarterly reports for licensing and sponsorship activities and monthly dashboard reports to share with internal constituents.
  • Work with Associate VP to engage with local businesses to promote opportunities of engagement with UC's community, increasing brand visibility and generating incremental revenue.
  • Assist in developing sponsorship agreements covering sponsorship/brand engagement activities and preserving all executed agreements in the contract management database (PACE). Produce invoices for fees related to sponsorship agreements and ensure payments are processed and distributions provided to relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Produce reports tracking brand engagement activities including dashboard reports to assist leadership in identifying strategic partnerships opportunities and demonstrate fulfillment of current sponsorship activities.
  • Manage work for student interns including setting schedules and distribution of work to maximize their experience and support the administrative needs of the office.
  • Manage content for the licensing website and supervise the production of communication materials including quarterly and annual reports.
  • May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree

Nine (9) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement

Required Experience

Five (5) years of relevant work experience
