Job Summary

ThisBMI clinic position is located on- campus in the KY clinic.

This position will work as a member of the High BMI/ Obesity and Weight management clinic within Pediatric Specialty Clinic to provide care and coordination of care to children and adolescents who have been referred to the team as a result of various increased risk factors, weight-related concerns, or general healthy weight guidance.

Clinical expectations will be full time in nature, with a proctoring period to be determined by supervising faculty; with clinics occurring Monday – Friday, excluding holidays. The APP will provide direct patient care, patient and family education, participate in quality improvement projects, including but not limited to protocol development, Pediatric Obesity Initiatives and programs. This position will also be involved in community education, professional development, research and scholarly activities, providing education to APP students as well as students of allied health fields.
