Job Summary

The University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking a Director of Strategic Initiatives and Data Analytics. The mission of the Office for Organizational Well-Being is to promote a continuous culture of organizational well-being by influencing systemic progress and enhancing personal wellness.
This position will develop and advance the analytics and insights strategy for the College of Medicine Office for Organizational Well-Being that will be instrumental in supporting culture transformation within the UK College of Medicine and UK Healthcare. This position will oversee the design, implementation, and analysis of major surveys related to organizational well-being and effectiveness; identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern, prepare and present survey findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and executive leaders in the UK College of Medicine ( COM) and UK Healthcare ( UKHC); lead and implement strategic initiatives that advance a culture of well-being throughout the College of Medicine and align with organizational goals. The scope of this position includes all of those who learn and work within the College of Medicine, including clinical faculty, non-clinical faculty (basic sciences), staff, UME learners and GME trainees, post-docs, and fellows.
Organizational well-being is a strategic opportunity as we compete with other academic medical centers and colleges of medicine to recruit and retain top talent. While the College of Medicine Office of Organizational Well-Being is a first of its kind at UK, it is a gold standard at other colleges of medicine across the nation. The creation of concentrated focus and support for organizational well-being will position UK to compete for top talent and retain those already practicing at the university.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Experience with data analytics, particularly data related to surveys.

Master's preferred in public health administration, organizational psychology, or similar field
