Job Summary
UK Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement is seeking a qualified individual to serve as the Assistant Director of Gift Accounting and Data Integrity. The Assistant Director of Gift Accounting and Data Integrity will report to the Director of Gift Receiving and will serve as gift reporting and project manager for the department, manage the advancement fee collection and distribution process, and maintain gift and pledge data integrity. In partnership with the Director and Associate Director of Gift Receiving, oversee gift processing and production of receipts and acknowledgment letters. This individual will develop and maintain methods for workflow analysis to include tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of gifts to the University working collaboratively with the UFS Endowment and Gift Accounting department.
Reporting responsibilities include:
• extracting, manipulating, and compiling financial information into routine and specialized reports
• analyze reports of daily gift processing activity
• receipt and acknowledgment letter production
• review complex gift records to proactively resolve errors or omissions of data for receipt/gift acknowledgments
• manage advancement fee collection and distribution to include communicating with UK Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement office staff, UFS Endowment and Gift Accounting staff, and college and program business officers concerning fee exceptions and general policy related concerns
• providing oversight and approval of JV corrections to gift deposits or advancement fees
• approving JV's through SAP workflow
This position will supervise the Gift Accounting and Data Specialist and provide back-up support to the Director and Associate Director of Gift Receiving. The Assistant Director of Gift Accounting and Data Integrity will work cooperatively as a member of the Gift Receiving team to promote a positive work environment and model excellent customer service.
