7:30 am – 6:00 pm are our hours of operation.

Job Summary

-Need individuals available from 4-5:30pm to assist with our closing shifts in our Infant-Preschool classrooms. Also in need of substitutes during the week.

The Child Development Center of the Bluegrass at the University of Kentucky is hiring part time assistant teachers for our infant-preschool aged classrooms. The needed shift is M-F 4-5:30pm and substitutes during the week. CDCB is a NAEYC accredited program that serves students with and without special needs. Child Development Center of the Bluegrass is conveniently located on The University of Kentucky's campus and employees have onsite free parking. Location: 290 Alumni Dr.

Assistant teaching Duties include:

-Provide small and large group instruction under Lead Teacher supervision

-Assist in supervision of students in the classroom and on the playground

-Assist in making materials for classroom use

-Prepare and clean up after meals and classroom time

-Demonstrate good attendance

-Obtain 15 clock hours of Training each year
