Job Summary

The Department of Anthropology in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position in Anthropology and US Business Practices to begin August 1, 2024. The selected candidate will be appointed to a 9-month, non-tenure eligible faculty position for an initial two-year period that has the potential for renewal and for promotion to Senior Lecturer after five years. The preferred candidate will have experience teaching at the introductory and advanced undergraduate level, including large lecture courses and online courses. Expertise in Economic and Business Anthropology and US Cultures is required. We are particularly interested in applicants with experience in curriculum development and student mentoring. A Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology is required.
