Job Summary

This position dedicates immense time to the planning of the University's orientation programs and our student worker assignments. This position will supervise and directly schedule the 24+ student workers, make decisions that directly impact orientation programming, triage new challenges that have presented with the growth of the class and increased number of orientations, work with campus partners and advisors daily and administer the new Canvas courses now used for orientation, and many other duties as assigned. This position will also interact with incoming students by managing the phone and email correspondence for the office. As outreach efforts grow in the office, this position will have a significant role in planning, executing and administering those programs alongside the director. Additionally, this position serves as associate director for the Kentucky Science Olympiad program, a key STEM-focused outreach offering to hundreds of Kentucky middle and high school students.
