Job Summary
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture Food and Environment, department of Entomology seeks a candidate with strong problem-solving and communication skills to serve as a Research Scientist I. Entomology is a vibrant research community. We offer exceptional laboratories and equipment to conduct cutting-edge research in order to serve the practical needs of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
The Scientist position serves a crucial function, coordinating multiple pesticide research projects relating to indoor and structural pests and providing daily supervision of graduate and undergraduate research programs . Duties include designing projects, conducting applications/treatments, analyzing results using appropriate statistical tests, drafting reports, and presenting results to stakeholders.
