Post Doctoral Associate

The Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases is seeking to hire a Post-Doctoral Associate. The post-doctoral candidate will focus on research on antibody identification and engineering in the laboratory of the Center for Antibody Therapeutics (CAT). The candidate will conduct innovative research developing novel scaffolds and antibody libraries, performing planning and screening phage and yeast display libraries, increasing antibody affinity by in vitro maturation, and humanizing antibodies. The candidate will also design and generate antibody composite molecules including antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), Chimeric antigen receptors (CAR T), and bispecific antibodies. The work will involve measurements of binding kinetics, recombinant antibody production as well as production of other proteins, immunostaining, working with mammalian cell cultures, xenograft animal models, and using other related methodologies and any other assignments requested by the principal investigator. Candidates familiar with mouse animal models will be prioritized.

Ph.D. in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, infectious Diseases, or related fields required.
