PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record Check will be required prior to the start of employment. Job Summary

Executes protocol-related research procedures, activities, outreach, and education. Manages a complex program or study or multiple programs and studies. Collects and analyzes data and complies with all policies and regulations. Recommends improvements to policy and procedure.


Essential Functions

• Executes protocol-related research procedures and study, including outreach and education.• Manages a complex program/study and/or multiple programs/studies. Coordinates special studies or projects as directed.• Collects and analyzes information.• Ensures the safety of research and laboratory. Complies with federal, state, and sponsor policies, as well as Institutional policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and guidelines.• Coordinates activities administered by the research program in the development and implementation of procedures for the program/service area.• Analyzes and recommends improvements to policy and procedure.• Previous experience with clinical or community-based research preferred but not required. The candidate will join a community-based research team and may be responsible for participant recruitment, survey administration, qualitative interviews, and data preparation, including working on projects focused on community-based violence prevention trials. The candidate may additionally assist with other community-based research activities including program delivery and evaluation, data entry, transcription, and administrative support for the department of Adolescent Medicine.• Some travel to satellite sites may occur. If not utilizing public transportation, a valid driver’s license is required. It is the expectation that the incumbent will use their own vehicle required for local travel and the owner of the vehicle must carry automobile liability insurance. The owner’s automobile liability insurance coverage is primary coverage. The University’s automobile liability insurance policy provides excess coverage only.
