About the Position

We are looking for someone who is passionate about student success with a collaborative spirit, adaptable, and an aptitude to navigate the student life cycle with positive outcomes. Reporting directly to the Director of Student Services, you will play a crucial role in the student experience providing quality academic advising to ensure timely graduation, achievement of academic and career goals while fostering mattering and belonging in the university and college community. This position serves all College of Nursing prospective, current and alumni students from initial inquiry to completion of degree requirements and beyond.

Primary Duties:

· Manage academic advising and course registration process for all Undergraduate and Graduate Programs.

· Educate advisors and support staff on degree requirements, policies, and procedures for current and proposed programs.

· Manage academic advisor campaigns.

· Manage academic advisor on-boarding and training.

· Assign students the appropriate advisor.

· Manage enrollment spreadsheets.

· Advise prospective, newly admitted, and current students on academic, career, and personal issues.


Qualifications :

Required Qualifications:

· Master's degree (or degree earned withing 12 months of hire) in College Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration, Educational Psychology, School Counseling or related field

· 3 years’ experience academic advising, coaching, career development or related field
