- Level 1 Trauma Center (Adult & Pediatric) and Academic Medical Center -- the only level 1 trauma center in the region that is fully accredited by the American College of Surgeons
- Collegial relationship within the Department of Anesthesiology
- Exceptional case variety and opportunities - Trauma, Cardiac, Neuro, Pediatrics, Transplant, Vascular, Ortho, GYN, ENT, & OB
- New inpatient Children's Hospital anticipated to be complete in March 2023
- CRNAs place arterial Lines, central Lines, use ultrasound, non-invasive fluid monitoring, and place neuraxial blocks

Requirements:
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:
- Current RN license in Virginia
Current license to practice in specialty area (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist-CRNA) in Virginia
Current CRNA certification by the National Board on Certification/Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists
Education/training REQUIRED:
- Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program specific to area of practice*
*Applicants with current advanced practice licensure may be within one semester of graduation from obtaining a MSN Degree or higher, which must be completed within six months of hire to continue employment.
