This important role will develop, direct, and manage all activities related to the homeownership originations line of business for Virginia Housing, including the satellite and mobile offices. The Director will establish short-term and long-term strategic plans for Homeownership Originations and develop, direct, and manage all activities related to Homeownership Originations' operations. The position is responsible for the design, function, implementation, operations, and administration of homeownership programs and will develop and implement loan operating policies and procedures, which includes regulatory review, product specifications, operations review, policies, procedures, and quality control.
Qualified candidates must possess:
Preferred experience includes an advanced degree and/or professional/technical certification.

Hiring Range: $150,929 - $196,204
Hybrid work model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Qualified candidates must possess:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant work experience.
- Several years of mortgage banking experience.
- Familiar with full life cycle of mortgage originations process.
- Experience managing and leading teams.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong presentation skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels within an organization.
- Ability to network with internal and external stakeholders.
