Hiring Range: $75,038 - $97,549

This important role will support our staff and visitors by maintaining a safe and comfortable building environment to ensure Virginia Housing associates can complete our mission.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assure all facilities and system components are operating fully with minimum interruption.
- Oversee the day to day operations and assignment of duties for the maintenance department.
- Prepare preventative maintenance/facility contracts and perform scheduling and scope of work with multiple external vendors and contractors.
- Serve as main point of contact after business hours and on weekends for all facility related incidents, alarms or building issues.
Qualified candidates must possess:
- Advanced knowledge of Tridium building automation systems and controls, troubleshooting and repairs for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and major facility components.
- Knowledge of hardware to include door closures, locks, furniture repair, paint, sheetrock, carpet repairs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
Preferred experience includes:
- VA state tradesman certificate, vocational certificate in facilities management, proven past experience and demonstration of supervising a team by training, scheduling, counseling, reviewing performance and communicating job expectations for a minimum of 3 years.
