This important role will be the lead network engineer for our network infrastructure. Primary responsibilities will include support of VHDA's traditional and cloud network infrastructure as well as supporting our software defined network architecture (NSX). A strong understanding of cloud network infrastructure, cloud integration, multi-cloud, hybrid cloud solutions is required.
To be successful in this role you must possess:

Senior level hands-on skills (switching, routing, firewall, load balancer) in Cisco and Palo Alto
Experience of Citrix Netscaler
Network analysis and design skills
Working knowledge of NSX
VMware vCenter experience
Working knowledge of AWS, Azure
Network design in Azure/AWS
Network Monitoring Concepts
AWS Cloud watch, PRGT
Traffic management and measurement concepts
Authentication systems using RADIUS, TACACS etc.
IAM in Azure/AWS
WAN technologies
AWS Direct Connect
VOIP technology, Webex, CUCM, Unity, Call Center
Working knowledge of CUCM
Firewalls
Firewall technologies and concepts
Virtual Palo Alto in AWS/Azure

This important role will be the lead network engineer for our network infrastructure. To be successful in this role you must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or several years of equivalent work experience is required.
- Several years (10+ years), preferred, working in a technical enterprise environment with a focus on network management/maintenance, during which the majority of the following occurred: Participated on multi-discipline, high-performance work teams/groups.
- Successfully developed and implemented new technology and processes, including design and implementation of data center infrastructure such as routers, switches, firewalls, load-balancers, VOIP solutions, etc.
- Demonstrated competency in project management and effective management of resources in the execution of multiple projects.
- Design and implementation experience for change, incident, and problem management processes (preferably ITIL-based).
- Successfully worked with customers to develop effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
- One of the following certifications are preferred: CCNA R+S or higher, CompTIA Network+
