Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for a full-time faculty member to teach culinary arts courses; advise students; and manage program and course curricula. Teaching assignments may include principles of food preparation, kitchen sanitation and safety systems, introduction to baking, desserts and pastry arts, or other culinary courses. Additional duties include managing the culinary arts kitchen and dining laboratories, purchasing and managing inventory of instructional equipment and supplies, engaging with community partners and stakeholders, and maintaining program accreditation, which requires attending professional conferences.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or other relevant field; three years of experience as a chef or kitchen manager; and ServSafe certification prior to the position start date. Preference will be given to applicants with a master’s degree; teaching experience; and/or Certified Sous Chef (CSC®), Certified Chef de Cuisine (CCC®) or Certified Culinary Educator (CCE®) credentials.
