Wright State’s School of Professional Psychology (SOPP) is seeking qualified applicants for a Postdoctoral Associate to teach at the graduate level, provide umbrella assessment supervision to psychology trainees, and engage in administrative and clinical activities within the department’s Psychological Assessment Clinic. The SOPP is a school within the College of Health, Education, and Human Services that confers the Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree. The SOPP believes that culturally-grounded, generalist education and training at the doctoral level best prepares psychologists to meet the current and future challenges posed by changes in health care delivery. The SOPP offers psychological testing services to adults in the Dayton area through the Psychological Assessment Clinic (PAS). PAS serves as an in-house training clinic for SOPP students and is overseen by a core-faculty member. The SOPP is seeking a postdoctoral fellow for a full-time 12-month appointment beginning in August 2024. The fellowship is ideal for those who are considering engaging in assessment services, administration and/or teaching in the future.

Required:

• Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
• Graduated from an APA-Accredited doctoral program
• Completed an APA-Accredited doctoral internship
• Doctoral-level training in psychological testing

Preferred:

• Experience providing umbrella clinical supervision
• Experience in conducting psychological testing with adults, specifically ADHD, educational and autism assessments
• Teaching Assistant experience
